Hi! I’m Leow Guo An, a Bachelor of Nursing (Hons) graduate with Merit. I have recently completed my nursing degree and gained one year of clinical experience as a Staff Nurse in a medical-surgical ward. Throughout my studies, I developed a strong foundation in Biology, Science, Anatomy, Physiology and other healthcare-related subjects.

While I am relatively new to formal tutoring, I have experience explaining and sharing knowledge with fellow students and peers throughout my university years. My nursing education and clinical experience have trained me to understand complex concepts and explain them in a simple, structured and easy-to-understand way.

My teaching approach focuses on understanding rather than memorisation. I will first identify the student's strengths and areas that need improvement, then adjust my teaching style according to their learning needs. I can provide clear explanations, examples and practice questions to help students build both their knowledge and confidence.

I am a friendly, patient and approachable person, and I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them develop a better understanding of the subject and become more confident in their learning.

I am currently available for part-time tuition and am open to both face-to-face and online lessons.
